friends

The past three nights have been great. I think I already posted about Amanda, Chris, and Matt coming to Troy and Sebastian pleasantly surprising me. =] Yesterday, Mark and I went to the library and the Office was finally ready for pick up! Work was awesome. I actually love it there now. I got a pop card for doing a good job I guess? Got home, did my charcoal still life and my charcoal self portrait, which I proceeded to drop and smear, but I fixed it and started my paper. I fell asleep around 5. School today, got an A- on my self portrait and an A- on my late homework. Mendelson was surprisingly kind to me today and I didn't know how to react. Wrote my paper after class in the library, walked to Jimmy John's and got a number 6, drank hot chocolate and read Real Detroit until my English peer edit, only one thing was wrong with my paper, and then I came home. Did my FAFSA finally, not that I think it matters now, but whatever, played with my dog, and then Messa came and got me and we went to Michael's and caught up on stuff.

Today was wonderful. Worked from 9:00- 4:30. It was pretty fun. I worked with Val and she's the best to work with, cashier wise. Came home, played with Bernie and the new toys I bought her. I decided to take a bath and as I was doing so, David called and then Mark. Amanda texted me and said that her, Chris, and Matt were coming from Southgate to hang out! As I was going upstairs in my towel, Sebastian called me and said he was coming over which was sweet. He came over, then I ran outside in my socks to flag down Amanda and was looking at the wrong car. We hung out in my room and Amanda cut my hair some more. We watched this funny cake fart thing. And then two girls, one cup which was my first time ever seeing. Hung out, blah blah blah. Mark came over for a few and then went home and we met up with David and Kyle at Ramshorn. I bought Sebastian fries and coffee and got breakfast for dinner. We stayed there for a good while and at midnight we all sang Chris Happy Birthday. Sat in the car to figure things out. They went back downriver and Kyle, Cbass and I hung out at my house. Sebastian rode his bike home and shortly after David and Kyle left. Now I'm sitting here wasting my time.

By Monday, I have to finish my charcoal still life, do a charcoal self portrait, do quick contours, and write a paper! Work tomorrow 3-6. Then I don't work til Wednesday.

So the past few days have been pretty good. Last Sunday Live To Kill had a show at the Double oo and it was fun, an all around good time. I tagged along with Taryn, so that instantly adds to the fun factor and I love everyone who goes to those shows. Since then it's pretty much been school, work, and hanging out with Mark. I'm doing well in school and I don't hate work, plus I love Mark, so it's all good! Wednesday I had the day off and Mark brought me free Jimmy John's and then we met up with Hannah and she brought me free Caribou. It was great to see her too because it's been too long! We went to Target and I got a hoodie and sewed patches on it. AND THEY STAYED ON. I DIDN'T FAIL! Today I went and got new glasses ( I can see again!) and then my mom and I went shopping. I got a winter coat, two pairs of shoes that actually cover my feet (!), and socks. Shortly after, David and Kyle came over and then Amanda and her friend Paige drove to my house from Grosse Ile,which I've never even heard of, but it's far as fuck. AMANDA CUT MY HAIR and I'm in love with it! Then we went to Ramshorn and they both got pancakes and I got an omelette. I had a really bad headache so I got my food to go, but we talked for a really long time and I had a lot of fun. This post is silly and pointless but I'm in a goofy mood so get over it.
